Hurricane Isabel creates a 9.5-foot surge, the highest recorded tide ever. Smithfield Station undergoes major repairs and renovations.

Inn was remodeled to match the Lodge Hotel Rooms. Randy and Brian Pack create Pack Brothers Hospitality and take control of Surry Seafood Co. in Surry, Virginia.

A new structure was built next to the pool and the marina shower facilities were updated.
