Smithfield Station is ideally situated in the heart of Historic Smithfield, VA and overlooks the scenic Pagan River. This riverfront jewel offers a variety of accommodations from classically affordable Traditional Rooms with both park and water views, to luxurious Deluxe Lodge Rooms, Cottages and Suites.
The Light at Smithfield is an exact replica of a working Chesapeake Bay Style Lighthouse and boasts two spacious suites, one upstairs and one down. Enjoy panoramic views of the river, room to entertain, and access to the scenic overlook or wrap around deck. The Light is truly a unique destination stay.
The Lodge at Smithfield Station hosts 22 of our newest and largest waterfront boutique rooms, and feature king size beds, fireplaces, granite counters, walk-in tile showers and upscale amenities plus all but two of these rooms have private balconies. Jacuzzi tubs are also available in some suites, and there are even two rooms with an adjoining door available for those traveling with friends and family.
The Boardwalk Rooms and Cottages at Smithfield Station are located along the boardwalk between the Lighthouse and the Original Building. These unique rooms are truly waterfront as they sit anywhere from six to twenty feet from the marina and are all on the first floor.
Recently remodeled! This original structure houses the Smithfield Station restaurant as well as 15 hotel rooms. The exterior of the Station is modeled after the old Coast Guard life-saving stations that proliferated the coast of Virginia and Outer Banks of North Carolina.
